Welcome to Palermo
Late Morning: Arrival in Palermo and transfer to your hotel in the heart of Palermo center. Check-in to your four-star hotel, your home for the next three nights.
Late Afternoon: Enjoy an orientation walk of Palermo.

DAY 2: Friday, 2026
Palermo, Sicily’s Beautiful Capital City
Morning: Walking tour of Palermo center with local, licensed guide. Tour will include Church of San Domenico, The "Quattro Canti”, La Martorana Church, Piazza Pretoria, Church of San Giuseppe dei Teatini and the Palermo Cathedral.
Afternoon: Spend the rest of the day exploring Palermo on your own. We suggest a visit to the Palatine Chapel or the “Capo” Market, one of the oldest markets of Arab origins.
Evening: Welcome reception.
DAY 3: Saturday, 2026
Palermo / Cefalu / Monreale / Palermo
Morning: Depart Palermo following the northern coast of Sicily to the picturesque town of Cefalu. This tiny seaside town is filled with gorgeous photo-ops.
Afternoon: Depart from Cefalu to Monreale. Discover the Byzantine beauty, Norman splendor and Arab symmetry of Monreale’s medieval Cathedral and its beautiful Benedictine Cloister.
Evening: Dinner on your own.
DAY 4: Sunday, 2026
Palermo / Agrigento
Morning: Depart for Agrigento and check-in to your five-star hotel for two nights.
Afternoon: Walking tour with specialized guide of the incredible Valley of the Temples. Explore the most outstanding examples of Greek architecture: Temple of Zeus, Temple of Juno, Temple of Concordia.
Evening: Dinner at hotel.
DAY 5: Monday, 2026
Cooking class in Favara
Morning: Depart to Favara to enjoy a Cooking class with our local Sicilian chef, followed by lunch.
Afternoon: At leisure at the hotel
Evening: Dinner at hotel.
DAY 6: Tuesday, 2026
Piazza Armerina / Syracuse
Morning: Depart from Agrigento to Piazza Armerina. Walking tour of the Villa Romana del Casale with an expert local guide. The Villa Romana del Casale is a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the richest, largest and most complex collection of late Roman mosaics in the world.
Afternoon: After lunch depart for Syracuse and check-in to your four-star hotel for 2 nights. Informal introduction to the Island of Ortigia, the heart and historical center of Syracuse.
Evening: Dinner at a local trattoria.
DAY 7: Wednesday, 2026
Historic City of Syracuse
Morning: Visit Syracuse's archeological site with a local guide. Syracuse is famous for its rich Greek history, culture, amphitheaters and architecture. Return to Syracuse center for lunch on your own.
Afternoon: Walking tour of the Island of Ortigia with local guide followed by free time to shop or relax.
Evening: Dinner on your own.
DAY 8: Thursday, 2026
Syracuse / Taormina
Morning: Depart for Taormina with enroute stop in the countryside near Catania for a private rustic Sicilian lunch.
Afternoon: Arrival in Taormina, described by Goethe as “a corner of paradise.” Check-in to your four-star hotel, your home for the next 3 nights.
Evening: Dinner on your own.
DAY 9: Friday, 2026
Taormina / Mount Etna / Taormina
Morning: Excursion to Mount Etna. Experience the Etna crater, lava fields and the incredible landscape from Europe’s largest active volcano.
Afternoon: Lunch and wine tasting on the slopes of Mount Etna. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in Taormina.
Evening: Dinner on your own.
DAY 10: Saturday, 2026:
Taormina
Morning: Walking tour of charming Taormina including the stunning ancient Greek Theater. Afternoon: Free time to explore Taormina on your own.

Evening: Farewell dinner at a local trattoria.

Early morning transfer to the Catania airport.
